The Elephant and the Dragon

have some Han China and Mughal India <3 think I’m gonna draw a longer piece about empires!

I didn’t draw Mughal India with the bindi because most of the Mughal emperors were Muslim, and from what I understand the bindi was associated with Hinduism (and would thus be contrary to their faith).

Hello, hello. Is someone—or rather, some people—bothering you?

           No, no. It just seems as though the world is supposed to end every few years, now.

Ah, yes. Today is the Norse one, right?

Watch out, Anh. We might have more than the usual European devils coming after us today.

Namaste, Francis.

You say that almost as if you were expecting me.

Salut, AjayIt has been some time, non? I trust you are doing well—

I never really know who to expect, with people dropping in and out all the time. Might as well approach it with a ‘I was bound to see you eventually’ way!

Hanji, It has been some time. It honestly depends on how you define “doing well”, but I suppose I am dealing with things the best I can.

You seem to be your usual self, so I can only assume you are doing well, hm?

☠ Sailor Star Epros: i'm laughing how this is worded
"India and Vietnam established official diplomatic relations in 1972 and have since maintained friendly relations, especially in wake of Vietnam's hostile relations with the People's Republic of China,"

{Tujhe Dekha To}

Love was in the air—in the form of commercialized products and large signs telling passerbys that Valentine’s Day was not an occasion to miss, and not treating your loved one to a wonderful day was terrible. India had picked up on the Western tradition quite fast, after all.

Ajay, however, decided that Valentine’s Day or not, he wanted to give the lady in his life a very special gift. They had been together for nearly a year now, and what a time it had been. He had been thinking for months what he should do for her, and he finally made his decision thanks to the advice of some friends.

He just hoped Anh wouldn’t hurt him for it.

"Don’t take it off yet. We’re almost there." Ajay had picked up the Viet from the airport and had promptly placed a blindfold on her. She wasn’t too happy about it, but he wanted to make sure that she had no idea what she was in for.
